Tea meal is a potential feed material with high nutritional value. However, tea pulp contains up to 10-15% tea saponin, which has certain toxicity to higher animals. However, studies have shown that appropriate amount of tea saponin can promote the growth of animals. And can enhance the body immunity. In order to ensure the safety and utilization, the residual tea saponin content of detoxified tea meal should be determined.
